THERE ARE PROPHETS ON THE EARTH TODAY
God often tells us ahead of time what He is going to do. In the Old Testament days God raised up prophets to tell His people what was ahead, and He foretold that there would be prophets on the earth today! “In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.” (Joel 2:28 and Acts 2:17). Today we are in what the Bible calls the last days. God has given us His Word and His prophets to tell us, ahead of time, what He wants us to know. The picture above is of Dutch Sheets, one of God’s well known prophets today.
Until six years ago, I didn’t know there were prophets on the earth today. I have “Read through the Bible in a Year” countless times, so I knew it was prophesied. There are many prophets, and God is speaking to us through them! Are you hearing what they are saying? Steve Shultz created a daily publication, “The Elijah List”so God’s people can listen to what God is telling us through His prophets. Steve’s daily posts highlight what God is saying through recognized prophets. (See link to The Elijah List” at the end of this article.)
In November 2018, I attended the National Aglow Conference in Spokane, Washington, with my daughter and granddaughter. Lance Wallnau was one of the speakers. He is the Prophet who God told to write the book, God’s ChaosCandidate, prophesying that Donald Trump would be elected President in 2016. Lance told all of us at the Convention that an angel was present to give each of us an assignment and that we would receive it before we left. As my daughter dropped my friend and me off at the Spokane Airport, she said, “I’ll go with you to this Convention next year if it’s in Israel.” I assured her that it would not be in Israel, that it is always in the United States.
As we waited for our plane, I told my friend, Phyllis, that my daughter had liked the Convention enough to say that she will go with me again if it’s in Israel. Phyllis said, “It is in Israel next year!” I told her, “Then it’s impossible for me to go. I can’t afford it.” She reminded me, “If God wants you to go, it’s not impossible!” Then, evaluating the possibility further, I said, “My daughter would expect me to pay for her and my granddaughter’s fares. That makes it impossible times three!” Just then, my cell phone rang, and God showed me that “With God, nothing is impossible.” (Luke 1:37) The call was from my son, who was dog sitting for me, and he said, “Becca is in heat!” Becca is my AKC Purebred Golden Retriever, who was almost two years old then. I had just said it would be impossible for me to afford Israel, and God immediately showed me how I could afford to go to Israel! I could breed Becca and sell a litter of purebred AKC puppies!
When I got home, I had Becca bred, and two months later she produced nine healthy puppies. For four months I had no time to publish on this website. Having nine puppies in my home was an enormous amount of work. There were countless things to be done – the puppies and pen had to be kept clean. Eventually Mama dog got tired of nursing and we had to mix kibble and feed the puppies warm gruel four times a day. The puppies had to be registered with American Kennel Corporation, and vaccinated twice. I had to actively advertise, carefully interview puppy buyers, and sell all nine puppies to good homes. I know there are people who object to breeding and bringing more dogs into a world where the shelters are full, but God showed me to do this.
While I cared for puppies, I was not able to write or publish on this blog. I could only meet the most urgent priorities, but God helped sell every puppy! There were people who wanted to put deposits down to hold a puppy, before the puppies were born. The day the puppies were old enough to leave their mother, every one of them was sold and went to wonderful homes and owners! Finally, things have slowed down, and I have caught up and can write again!
Because God told us, through his prophet Lance Wallnau, to expect an assignment, my daughter and I recognized Israel as a God-given assignment. We are going to Israel to the Aglow Convention in September! My granddaughter has chosen to not go because she will be starting her first year of high school, just as we leave for Israel.
We don’t know why God wants us to be in Israel in September, but Jane Hanson Hoyt (who is a prophet and heads up Aglow International) said she heard God say that Aglow was to hold their Convention in Israel this year. And God said it was a Convocation, not a Convention. A convocation is a summons. Aglow has members in 50 countries, and more than a thousand of God’s people have been summoned to be in Israel in September 2019!
God spoke through His Prophet to alert us to watch for our assignment. We heard it, and, while it seemed impossible, He miraculously showed me how to finance the trip. God willing, and I think He is willing, we will be in Israel for the Aglow Convocation in September.
What about you? Do you know what God wants you to do for Him? He put prophets here to make sure you know what He is doing. Do you know who He is blessing in Washington D.C. and Israel? Are you praying and voting God’s will for our Country? If our Country goes down, you will go down too!
God is saying – to anyone who will listen – through His prophets, “Wake up! Wake up your family and friends! Wake up your church! I’m starting a new move and I want all of you to be part of it!” God is saying, “Get ready! Tell your church to get ready! I’m sending a huge wave. Get on the wave so you can ride it where I take you – and do what I say to do. Have no fear – trust Me and obey Me, and I will anoint you and use you! If God wants you to do something , it is not impossible for you.
